Since then, Giri Sembung Hill has been developed into a paragliding spot that offers views of rolling hills and rice fields. It’s even more interesting if you fly in the morning and the weather is clear. You can see clear views of the sea south of Java, Mount Merbabu and Merapi.
The peak of Giri Sembung Hill is the location take offwhereas landing-it is at Boro Field which is about 1.9 km away. The wind conditions on this hill are east winds which usually blow for more than 7 months. Although this hill is quite steep and the movement to fly the parachute is more limited.

2. Batara Sriten Embung

Located in Dukuh Sriten, Pilangharjo, Nglipar District, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. This reservoir is the highest in Yogyakarta and Central Java, reaching 859 meters above sea level.
Puncak Mangir in the embung area is a spot for paragliding, hang gliding and camping. Right next to the Puncak Mangir viewing monument there is a recitation of Sheikh Walijati. Located in Giricahyo Village, Purwosari District, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta, you can visit it from 09.00-19.00 WIB.
Watugupit Hill is around 900 meters above sea level. The views offered include Parangtritis Beach and the beauty of the city from a distance. For those of you who want to try paragliding, location take off named Bukit Parang Endog and will landing at Depok and Parang Kusumo Beaches.
